De viktigste nyvinningene til disse maskinene var kjedene og rotasjonsaksene som gjorde det mulig \u00e5 ikke v\u00e6re avhengig av tyngdekraften. Han begynte \u00e5 jobbe p\u00e5 flere treningsmaskiner som totalt revolusjonerte Fitness-verdenen. Som en ekte gr\u00fcnder inns\u00e5 han raskt markedspotensialet for maskinene sine og opprettet raskt et selskap kalt &#039;Nautilus&#039;. Han hadde raskt en ekte kommersiell suksess i Nord-Amerika og begynte \u00e5 selge maskinene sine over hele verden. I 1984 var over 4700 Nautilus treningssentre aktive i USA. Fitness-maskinene hans ble brukt nesten overalt fra profesjonelle idretter (baseball, basketball, amerikansk fotball ...), universiteter og videreg\u00e5ende skoler til kommersielle treningssentre. Det var totalt tull, noe kan v\u00e6re galt! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanskje hele tiln\u00e6rmingen basert p\u00e5 polyleddbevegelser og \u00f8velser arvet fra vektl\u00f8fting var d\u00e5rlig. Enten det var kneb\u00f8y, benkpress eller markl\u00f8ft, var alle disse bevegelsene kjernen i enhver kroppsbyggers trening den gang. Til det punktet at vektstangbaserte isolasjons\u00f8velser (biceps curls, etc.) ble praktisert hovedsakelig for \u00e5 kunne \u00f8ke ytelsen p\u00e5 disse vektl\u00f8ftingsbevegelsene. Som if\u00f8lge dem var den eneste m\u00e5ten de visste at det utl\u00f8ste muskelvekst.<br>Gjerne, gjennom denne metoden, hadde mange idrettsut\u00f8vere opplevd muskel\u00f8kninger raskt og uten \u00e5 ta steroider. Imidlertid stagnerte kurven for muskel\u00f8kninger veldig raskt etter disse f\u00f8rste gevinstene. Nettopp det faktum at de engasjerte flere muskler gjorde det kun mulig \u00e5 mette musklene i l\u00f8pet av sv\u00e6rt kort tid og med n\u00f8dvendigvis tyngre og tyngre vekter.
