Whether you are living in Monaco or a fresh newcomer, here is my own selection of the 3 best premium Fitness Gym that could be found in Monaco and in the (very) close surrounding areas.
Located on the Avenue Princesse Grasse in the Larvotto quarter, right in front of the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel, this is probably my personal top choice. It is the best combination in terms of Fitness equipment, premium services, private coaching, location and selectivity. If you are looking for private coaching, the coaches are great. Including Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Aerobics, and Cycling, the offer in terms of small group classes is complete and of good quality. The 39 Monte Carlo also offers priority bookings at the Spa and access to monthly social events (member events). I found that these social events are very interesting and allow you to connect with people.
It is to be noted that this sports club is coupled with a hair and beauty salon as well as a place to eat, which can be very convenient if you have a busy schedule.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
My evaluation of the club:
Selectivity: 16/20
The facilities: 16/20 (superb pool and club house)
The setting: 14/20
The fitness equipment: 15/20
Comment on the gym equipment: Quite spacious for a Fitness Gym located in Monaco, with a good cross training area, a room for group courses (Fitness…), good Pilates equipment. I really liked the Gym 80 equipment, the Squat racks, the free weights and the Cross-Training area. The 39 Monte Carlo offers everything in a cozy but premium manner.

If you are staying in Monaco and you want to do some sport in an exceptional setting with a wonderful view of Monaco and its bay, the Monte Carlo Country Club is THE place to go (especially if you love Tennis). The Monte Carlo Country Club houses the famous annual Masters 1000 Tennis tournament. Consequently, the Tennis courts are of exceptional quality and it is very difficult not to enjoy training or playing tennis there.
The pool facility is just exceptional and host daily aquagym classes during the Summer.
The Club also offers a Sauna, a Jacuzzi, a Snooker, 2 Squash courts, a Ping-Pong room, a small Golf practice, a Club House and a great restaurant.

Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Selectivity: 20/20
The facilities: 19/20 (breathtaking view from the tennis courts and from the pool)
The setting: 19/20
The fitness equipment: 12/20
Comment on the gym equipment: Outside the tennis courts, the pool, the Cardio room and the Group Class Studio, the Fitness Gym is well equipped with Technogym, but it is rather small. If you love Fitness or if you want to train hard, this is (very unfortunately) not the place that will satisfy you the most. The MCCC’s very good personal trainers might help you compensate a little for the lack of space and equipment (but only to a certain point).
