No need to introduce Saint-Moritz, THE Swiss village synonymous with luxury, alpine sports and thermal relaxation. If you are planning a stay there, here are my Top 3 Fitness Spas where you can train and relax in a luxurious setting.
Badrutt’s Palace Wellness & Spa
Located a stone’s throw from the Casino of Saint Moritz, the Palace Wellness & Spa of Badrutt’s Palace is the place not to be missed if you are passionate about Sport and Fitness. This place is simply out of the ordinary and timeless. You can relax there after a good workout and enjoy a breathtaking view in summer and winter over Lake Saint Moritz and the surrounding mountains. You will benefit from the ultra-luxury services of Badrutt’s Palace, its gourmet restaurant, its spa, its tennis courts, its indoor and outdoor swimming pools, not to mention a fitness room where you will find everything you need to train. This is my favorite place in the region for a Fitness & Spa stay.
Grand Hotel Des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz
Located on the other side of Lake Saint Moritz, the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempiski (5 star hotel) offers this typical 19th century European luxury atmosphere that characterizes Saint Moritz so much. In this magnificent place, you will find a Spa with all the services, tennis courts, a superb sauna, an indoor swimming pool. You can train in complete peace in the fully equipped Technogym fitness room which offers enough equipment for my taste (given that it is more for occasional use). There is also a Pilates machine at free disposal and an adjoining solarium. In short, the Kempinski offers all the services that one can expect from a luxury Spa & Fitness.
Ovaverva Hallenbad, Spa & Sportzentrum
If you are staying in a private chalet or another hotel in Saint Moritz that does not have Spas & Fitness, I recommend you go to the Ovaverva Hallenbad, Spa & Sportzentrum. There, you can enjoy superb Spa and Fitness services either through a single entry purchase or through a seasonal pass (count around 800 CHF for adult seasonal access). Its entrance is located 100 meters from the Kempinski. You can enjoy a beautiful indoor swimming pool with a view of the mountains, an outdoor swimming pool, a Fitness Center very well equipped with Technogym. It is a superb alternative if you are not lucky enough to be able to stay in a Palace. The Ovaverva offers a range of interesting thermal and sports services.
