If you are visiting Budapest and are looking for a luxury hotel with top-notch spa services, here are my 3 favorite luxury spa hotels in Budapest.
Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest
This hotel is located between the famous Erzsébet Bridge and the Hungarian National Museum. It is a luxurious setting in a building whose architecture is typical of the art nouveau style. I like staying in this hotel because it really gives the impression of isolating yourself from the outside world in a luxurious and exotic setting. Its decoration is sometimes a little too much but that makes the charm of the building. Its Zafir Spa offers all the luxury that one can expect from a 5 star while allowing you to enjoy the thermal waters that have made Budapest famous.
Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest
This hotel offers a panoramic view of the Danube which crosses the city of Budapest. Its facade full of character during the day displays all its charm with the lighting that knows how to sublimate it once night falls. It is located in the continuity of the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. It will allow you to go on foot to the Hungarian Parliament Building. It will also allow you to take a cruise or a dinner cruise on the Danube thanks to the many cruise companies located near the hotel. Its Spa treatment called Touch of the Earth based on thermal water from Budapest is probably the most emblematic treatment of the hotel Spa. My advice if you choose to stay at this hotel: take advantage of their offer in partnership with the Hungarian State Opera which will allow you to spend an evening in this legendary opera.
Matild Palace
This hotel located just a few meters from the Parisi Udvar Hotel offers a more airy and modern decor. Between these two hotels, it is really a question of personal taste. For my part, I really like the Rooftop of the Matild Hotel and its Fitness Center which allows you to do some training between the different tourist visits. I like its Swan Spa which offers very pleasant Hammam Treatments after having made the long walks through the city.
